I’m Carletta – a Washington, DC photographer documenting love + life in all of its shapes and forms.The images you’ll see on this website are a reflection of my desire to capture people in the big moments and the in-between ones too. I approach every session I do with gratitude because I fully recognize that so much trust goes into choosing a photographer. I want your time with me to be relaxed, affirming and fun and I am deeply committed to making that happen.

Carletta is AMAZING!!! I reached out for a private photo session, just for me (boudoir style) and she responded right away. When I was looking at other boudoir photo places, it was crazy expensive and felt very marketed and unpersonal. From the first communication with Carletta I love her energy and vibe. She offered me a photo package and timeline that fit my needs perfectly. During the shoot she was so fun, empowering, and uplifting – I honestly had such a fun time that it was surprisingly just an amazing moment for me. Carletta made me feel comfortable and the photoshoot went better than i could have imagined. she provided sneaks quickly and the final album of photos was SO GOOD. She is a talented and overall wonderful human to be around, and will bring the light out of people for some amazing photos.

Carletta was absolutely amazing! I was 45 minutes late and almost missed my entire surprise engagement, Carletta was still very accommodating. She was so sweet and so helpful. She gave us a surprise set of pictures the next day and then the rest a little over week later. We received so many photos, which was amazing for the price. In case you need to hear it: book Carletta! My spouse and I first hired her to photograph our engagement, which was such a fun experience. We were not used to being photographed, but she made sure to make us feel comfortable in a way that allowed our love to shine through the camera. Since then, she has photographed our wedding, anniversary, and we recently did a newborn shoot with her as well. No matter the environment, Carletta can read the room and capture beautiful moments. She is incredibly responsive when coordinating, encouraging to subjects of photos when needed, and a beautiful light in any space.
